Hiking

The area is famous for its kilometres of varied mountain trails – from easy to difficult. Down in the valley or high up in the mountains, the choice is almost endless. Guided hiking tours can also be arranged.

Swimming Pool

The heated openair swimming pool with the most spectacular view you could ask for is less than 5 minutes from the hotel

Tennis and Minigolf

Lauterbrunnen has well maintained tennis courts and a minigolf course. Rackets and balls can be hired.

Mountain-Biking

A map of mountain-biking trails is available – easy to very steep – all you need to do is make the choice depending on how fit you are! Mountain bikes can be hired from “Imboden-Bikes” right next to the hotel.

Adventure Sports

Climbing, Ice-climbing, River rafting, paragliding, glacier-touring: For the more adventurous there are plenty of activities on offer.

Staubbach-Fall

Just a 5 min walk to highest waterfall in europe.
The impressive Staubbach waterfall is accessible by a new path and is illuminated at night. Find the secret gallery!!!!

Trümmelbach Falls

An easy 45 min. stroll along the valley floor will lead you directly to the spectacular “Trümmelbach-Waterfalls”. A “Must” for every visitor to Lauterbrunnen.

Mürren – Schilthorn

Mürren and the Schilthorn are easily accessible by cablecar and train via Grütschalp (can be combined with an easy and beautiful 2 hour hike from Grütschalp to Mürren) Cablecar Mürren – Birg – Schilthorn. Return by cablecar to Stechelberg and Postbus to Lauterbrunnen (or hike back in 1 hr.) “The Mürren loop” www.schilthorn.ch

Hike Männlichen – Kl. Scheidegg

Cablecar from Wengen to Männlichen, then, experiance one of the most gob smacking hikes ever! (2hrs) From Kl.Scheidegg you can train it back to Lauterbrunnen or even hike it!
